SBTi Brings Together 400 High-Tech Community Members
 
Santa Barbara Technology Incubator (SBTi), sponsored Santa Barbara’s first ever eBrew on Monday, August 21st. Over four-hundred high-tech professionals - executives, engineers, entrepreneurs, marketers, educators, programmers and sales people - congregated at Bistro Med to network. “I am absolutely thrilled that on a Monday evening, over 400 people spent three and a half hours enjoying a glass of wine together, professionally networking and doing business”, stated Dennis Cagan, SBTi Chairman and CEO. “And, this was only our first one.”

EBrew was one in a series of networking events that SBTi will host to bring the different players in high-tech entrepreneurship together. Noteworthy attendees included Lex Sisney, President of Commission Junction, Rick Davis. CEO of Ants.com, Divyakant Agrawal, Professor and Chair of the Computer Science Department at UCSB, Andreas von Blottnitz, President and CEO of Expertcity.com, Kathy Odell, Vice President of Enterprise Services for Agility Communications and Jason Chan from Silicon Valley Bank to name a few.
