Santa Barbara Technology Group Adds 2 New Members to Board of Advisors
 
Santa Barbara, Calif., Aug. 16, 2001 -- Santa Barbara Technology Group (SBTG), a leader in high-technology business development, today announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Advisors. Charles Will and Eric P. Robison will add their collective technical and business experience to the group. SBTG’s Board of Advisors is considered by many to be the most distinguished group of individuals in the tri-county area. They meet regularly to advise the company on a wide range of issues, from technology trends to investment opportunities.

Charles Will is currently Vice President of International Sales for Force10 Networks, a Silicon Valley based equipment manufacturer of 10 Gigabit Ethernet products. Previously, he served as Vice President of Asia Pacific Operations for Juniper Networks, a leading provider of purpose-built systems that meet the scalability, performance, density, and compatibility requirements of rapidly evolving, optically-enabled IP networks. Charles has over 20 years in the communications industry. He started his career with AT&T and has held executive sales positions with Cisco Systems and Stratacom Corporation.

Eric P. Robison is Vice President, Business Development and Project Development at Vulcan Northwest, Inc., the holding company managing all personal and business interests for investor Paul G. Allen. He is an Associate for Vulcan Ventures, Inc., the venture fund division of Vulcan and managing technology and entertainment projects as well as researching and securing investment opportunities. Eric joined Vulcan in 1994 and brings 20 years of technology experience to the company. He has a background in marketing management, holding positions at Ashton-Tate and Denny's. He’s also worked as a consultant for Microsoft, Coca Cola and Symantec. Additionally he was on the account staff of several advertising agencies including McCann Erickson, Doyle Dane Bernbach and Foote Cone and Belding. He has served on the Board of Directors of C/NET Networks, and Liquid Audio, Inc (NASDAQ:CNET) since 1994 and is also on the board of Cumulus Media (NASDAQ:CMLS), which operates 226 radio stations in 45 markets. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies with a minor in music from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master of Business Administration in general management from the University of California, Davis.
