Santa Barbara Technology Incubator (SBTi), hosted a four hundred person Open House on Friday, June 30. The event was at their downtown Santa Barbara location on 320 Nopal Street. Attendees included leaders in the Santa Barbara venture, business, professional and charitable communities, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs, and local angel investors. The turnout was overwhelming even though the date proceeded a long holiday weekend.

The SBTi Open House served as a public announcement of their seed capital closure in April. SBTi closed one of the largest rounds of seed funding of any Santa Barbara start-up to date. The Open House is one in a series of programs that SBTi will host to bring the different players in entrepreneurship together on a regular basis.
