Responsibilities

We are looking for a PHP Developer dedicated to the craft, who writes code they are proud of, and who can hit the ground running. 

A PHP Developer who writes beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard in a timely and scalable way that improves the code base of our products in meaningful ways. You will be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, and launching.

• Meeting with technology managers to determine application and website requirements

• Analyzing system requirements and delegating development tasks

• Developing technical specifications

• Providing support for junior developers

• Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications

• Drafting software and application operating procedures

• Training junior staff

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level internet scale services/solutions.

• Solid design and programming skills in C# or Java.

• Understanding and experience in Machine Learning are a plus.

• Solid hands-on software development expertise, including object-oriented design skills, .NET, etc.

• Strong analytical skills

• Demonstrated ability to impact/influence engineering designs

• Participated in the shipping of highly scalable and reliable services/systems

• Solid technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Strong debugging skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of Engineering Excellence processes and requirements

• Knowledge of modern engineering practices (Continuous Integration, TDD, automated deployments with integrated quality gates)

• Experience with Cloud Platforms like Windows Azure Platform, Amazon AWS, and Google Apps

• Experience with Big Data/Analytic Systems like Cosmos or Hadoop implementations

• Experience in eCommerce and/or Supply Chain

Education Qualification:

A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with related engineering experience is required.
